Legislative Site Visits. A short history.

Better information leads to smarter policy.

The Legislature has found it helpful to take time and really focus on the unique needs and issues of specific local communities in our state. To this end we take a break from our monthly committee meetings each August to visit a particular area of the state.

The visits were discontinued in the economic downturn a few years ago, then reinstated in 2005.
